It all starts with a free consultation in your home OR OVER A VIDEO CALL
You may have a clear idea of what you’re looking for, or I can guide you through the process and make a few recommendations. I’ll take a look at the piece to be upholstered, ask how you use it, and share some sample fabrics and pictures of previous commissions to spark ideas.
After the consultation, I’ll prepare a proposal and an itemised quote or estimate.
For more traditional re-upholstery projects it’s always an estimate, because until you strip back the existing fabric, you never know quite what you’ll find. We’ll usually have a second meeting to finalise the plan and agree timings. I may need to charge for your choice of material up front if I'm buying it on your behalf.
When you’re happy with the proposal, I’ll start the work.
I can collect or you can deliver. If you’d like, I’ll send some pictures of the work in progress. It’s fascinating to see the craftmanship that’s gone into an older piece.
I’ll invoice once THE WORK Is finished (I'M a small business so there’s no VAT)
You can pick up or I’ll deliver your furniture, as good as, or even better than, new.
